(Left to right) Pat Delsi & Bobby Rydell

On February 26, 1960 the South Philadelphia Review ran an interview conducted by Mike Gioffredo, the "Mayor" of South Philly. The conversation took place in Bobby's South Philly home on the 2400 block of South 11th Street. The singer said, "You can stand on any corner (in South Philadelphia) and throw a stone in any direction. Nine times out of ten, you'll probably hit a potential hit singer."
