Marciarose Shestack, a Broadcast Pioneer

Here's a picture of Broadcast Pioneers member Marciarose Shestack from 1965. It dates from the first half of that year (after that, the station became KYW-TV).

Marciarose says: Judging by the set and my hairdo, I would guess that it's from my talk show called "Speak Up." At first glance, I have no idea about who I'm interviewing but on closer examination, it may have been a man by the name of Bill Schwab who had a great collection of African artifacts. On second thought, that may have been from my program "Concept" in the early days as a sunday (morning) studio show. In l965, we went to film and a documentary format, tuseday nights at 7 pm, (an award winning format I might add).... What a walk. leap and jump down memory lane....
