Sponsors can support events, programs, and initiatives that preserve and promote the history of broadcasting in the Philadelphia region. Sponsorships offer exposure to a dedicated audience of industry professionals and enthusiasts, with various levels of participation available.

Donations are needed for our Scholarship Fund

The 2025 Scholarship Luncheon is April 25th. To reach our goal of awarding as many college scholarships as possible, we need donations as soon as possible. Without these donations, there will be no scholarships.

No matter the size, your gift will be very much appreciated.

Some donations are direct small and large contributions. You can also name a scholarship in honor or in memory of a loved one or colleague. Please let us know if your donation is for the general Scholarship Fund or in the name of a specific person. Ask your tax advisor about tax and estate planning benefits. Put us in your will. Each scholarship is $1,000 to qualifying area college students. More information and applications are available at broadcastpioneers.org.

In October we told you about the passing of respected broadcast journalist, Wally Kennedy. Wally was a Broadcast Pioneers board member, Hall of Fame member- Class of 2011, and longtime friend. Wally passed away the morning of October 30, 2024. His family directed that donations may be made in Wally’s memory to the BROADCAST PIONEERS SCHOLARSHIP FUND.
